Artist

Acrylics really pushed me to the next level of creativity. I love the greater range, versatility, flexibility, and texture that acrylics give me as an artist.

Prior to the 19th century, artists mixed their own paints, which allowed them to achieve the desired color and thickness. Today, hand mixing may not be practical and with the use of acrylic paints, the artist can adjust the appearance, and characteristics of the paint surface. The range of acrylics is much greater than watercolor and oil and acrylics bond to many different surfaces.
